The Embassy of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) in D.C. would like to join all families and friends here in the United States in paying tribute to the brave Micronesians and Americans who have served in the U.S. Armed Forced and paid the ultimate sacrifice. These men and women have contributed tremendously to protecting our shared values and principles of freedom and democracy. We take this opportunity on Memorial Day to remember these heroes. Their sacrifices have not only contributed to bringing our two nations closer together in our enduring ties of friendship, but also in safeguarding peace and prosperity for all mankind. We salute and honor them in remembrance.
