The Embassy wishes to share a recent update from the U.S. Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs: Senators Jerry Moran and Brian Schatz, together with bipartisan colleagues, have introduced legislation to expand access to certain U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) services for U.S. veterans residing in the Freely Associated States, including the Federated States of Micronesia.
If enacted, the legislation would direct VA to provide services such as telehealth, mail-order pharmacy/medication delivery, and beneficiary travel reimbursements for eligible veterans living in the Freely Associated States.
The Embassy will continue to monitor developments and share updates as they become available. Kindly refer to the link (Click Here) for more information.
