His Excellency Ambassador H. Susaia, DCM Jackson Soram and staff of the Embassy attended the promotional ceremony in honor of Sergeant First Class (SFC) Mrs. Youreen Caldwell to Master Sergeant.

Arlington, Virginia—On April 16, 2021, His Excellency Ambassador Akillino H. Susaia, DCM Jackson Soram and staff of the Embassy attended the promotional ceremony in honor of Sergeant First Class (SFC) Mrs. Youreen Caldwell to Master Sergeant. The ceremony was held at the Arlington Cemetery’s Military Women’s Memorial in Virgina. Master Sergeant Caldwell is originally from Pohnpei State, Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). She enlisted in the United States Army in 2003. At the ceremony, her Commanding Officer spoke highly of her exceptional accomplishments and dedication to duty. Master Sergeant Caldwell’s determination and dedication to duty enabled her to succeed in her leadership roles and helped her become a better officer.

On behalf of President David W. Panuelo and the people of the Federated States of Micronesia, the Embassy congratulated Master Sergeant Caldwell in her accomplishments and being such an exemplary role model for future generation of Micronesians who may eventually enlist in the United States Armed Forces. Attaining this exceptional promotion in her military career will serve as an encouragement for future FSM citizens and those currently in the U.S Armed Forces to do their best. We extend our gratitude and appreciation to Master Sergeant Caldwell and all our service members in the United States military for their dedicated service in the just cause of defending the World Peace.
